JULY 4 -JULY6
Carters Cartel could make his sophomore debut in the Vandy's Flash Handicap on July 5! Friday, July 4- Daytime simulcasting
from Hollywood Park, Pleasanton & East Coast racing. There will be no night
racing at Los Alamitos or Cal Expo on Independence Day.
Saturday, July 5 - Daytime simulcast
racing from Hollywood Park and additional Thoroughbred racetracks. Exciting
night racing at Los Alamitos featuring the Vandy's Flash Handicap for
3-year-olds. Field for the Vandy s Flash could include champion Carters
Cartel! There will be a total of 11-races on the card.
Handicapper's Corner with Chris Wade will feature a visit by
Los Alamitos' all-time leading stakes winning rider Eddie Garcia. Handicapper's
Corner will also feature a Handicapping Contest for 15,000 Racing Rewards
Points! Handicapper's Corner starts at 6 p.m. and will be held on the second
level of the grandstand next to The Vessels Club.
Out in satellite land, Les Onaka will visit Hollywood Park to
conduct a handicapping contest featuring $300 in cash prizes!
Sunday, July 6 - Daytime simulcast
racing from Hollywood Park and additional Thoroughbred racetracks. In addition,
exciting night racing at Los Alamitos plus a full slate of Quarter Horse
simulcasting will begin at 5:50 p.m. The feature event on the night is the
running of the Easy Date Handicap headed by champion Blazin Fire and Miss
Princess Handicap winner Clydette Mia.
Out in satellite land, Les Onaka will visit Santa Anita to
conduct a handicapping contest featuring $300 in cash prizes!
