     METAXA (Hernandez) was badly impeded when taking up sharply at the start in last third-place try vs. similar and looked strong in prior two victories. HOT LIST (Guce) deadheated for game victory vs. similar in last when part of speed duel throughout and loves to win races. SUICIDE CURVES (Roman) had picture tracking trip behind pacesetting runnerup in last win at tis level and benefits by a seven-pound apprentice allowance.

NOW YOU’RE IT (Guce) dueled outside the winner for command until fading midway on the far turn of last fourth-place try and was second two outs ago vs. eventual 870-yard allowance winner Hot As A Cat.
 
3RD RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     BACK AT YOU (Roman) steadied from tight quarters between horses leaving the backstretch chute before dueling for lead on the far turn of last needed runnerup try after 11-week layoff. BAR J F KAFWAIN (Charlton) figures to get stalking trip behind two speed foes here and has been second in three of last four outs LINCECUM (Bednar) made an uncontested early lead in last runnerup try vs. recent $2,500 winner Summer Pad and is the main speed threat for top pick.
 
4TH RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     SMALL CLAIMS COURT (Santos) was very wide down the backstretch and midway on the far turn whe fifth vs. tougher in last and was sharp second two outs back vs. recent $3,200 winner Yodel Up A Storm. A B C ME AWESOME (Roman) had uncomfortable trip from the rail post when lugging out into the far turn when bumped off stride in last and overcame pace pressure in prior two wins. LOVE PHONE (Guce) never got involved from the rail post in last Golden Gate outing and won at higher level when enjoying outside post draw four races back.

5TH RACE: Purse $5,475, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 300 yards.
     RGR NOT JESS LUCKY (Arvizu) was bumped out after veering in at the start of lat rough trip vs. better when finishing with run in reserve. SECRET NIGHTS (C Mendez) is very quick from the gate, returns to best distance and has leading rider up. HESHOWSCLASS (Samuel Mendez) was quick to the 3/8-pole before lugging out solidly on the far turn of last 870-yard outing and is back with maidens.
 
6TH RACE: Purse $8,590, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 330 yards.
     EASING THRU TRAFFIC (Lozano) likes an outside post and scored strong win in last despite lugging in solidly past the 1/8-pole. STOSSEL (Huerta) was moving well past the wire after tough start in last seventh-place try vs. stronger and lands solid rider. SERENITY (Arana) didn’t get her usual quick start when bumped back leaving the gate in laste fifth-place outing and looked sharp in prior victory over recent $12,500 winner Mrs Pickens.
 
7TH RACE: Purse $6,550, claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.
     ONYX CZECH (Luna) was quick into stride of last runnerup try vs. prior $6,250 third-place finisher Bikini Watcher and drops two class levels. CHICKSEE (J Nicasio) has been improved in last pair when dropping to this level and was runnerup in last start vs. the night’s fastest of four 300-yard winners. CLEVERLY (C Mendez) was game second in last vs. eventual $4,000 runnerup Chicksee and retains leading jockey.
 
8TH RACE: Purse $7,035, maidens, 3 year olds and up, 300 yards.
     DECEPTIVE (Gomez) went very strong while well in hand during the final 1/8 of solid 18.1 gate drill for debut. FUNNY MUNNY (Samuel Mendez) improved from an outside post in last runnerup try after four consecutive prior troubled starts. THE FOOCIL (Santiago Mendez) was sharp second two outs ago vs. eventual stakes winner Old Six Six and went well under hand ride in 18.3 gate drill for return.
