1ST RACE: Purse $7,000, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
EAT MY DIRT (Aragon) didn’t back up until near the 3/8-pole after breaking sharp in last well-beaten Santa Anita outing and should improve at shorter distance along with big class drop. FAST LANE LARRY (Bednar) battled between horses for the lead to the 3/16-pole in last third-place try and was second vs. class-dropping winner at this level two outs ago. DANCININDYSPOTLITE (Arana) has been no worse than third in last six starts at this level and is an early threat.

2ND RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
AVO (Gomez) was unlucky to drop neck photo in last third-place try when breaking slow before running very wide throughout. SWEET MOMENT (J Sanchez) has been prominent early in recent Bay Area tries vs. tougher fields and gets hot local rider. BLAZING MISS (Bednar) showed early speed in last third-place try vs. prior $2,500 runnerup Coco Smooches and retains solid rider for solid new barn.

3RD RACE: Purse $10,000, maidens, 3 year olds and up, 870 yards.
LOOK NO FURTHER (Guce) adds blinkers while switching to perennial leading distance rider after lugging out badly midway on the far turn after gaining clear lead in last. SUNNY JADE (M Ramirez) also bore out badly on the turn when on the lead of last fifth-place try when exceptionally wide into the lane and adds blinkers as well. LUCKY CAT (Bednar) has rapid recent 34 2/5 gate drill for 3 furlongs while preparing for debut and six year old gets a top local rider.

4TH RACE: Purse $7,735, maiden claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.
TYLERS MARKSMAN (M Arriaga) was fourth vs. two recent maiden stakes finalists in last and lost narrow photo three outs ago vs. eventual allowance third-place finisher Zee Oh Six. EPIC EMPIRE (DeAlba) finished running hard in last neck maiden stakes trial loss after getting bumped leaving the gate and faces softer field here. IMPACT (Cervantes) galloped out well in last better-than-looked try after getting bumped from both sides at the start before bumped again soon thereafter in last maiden trial out.

5TH RACE: Purse $9,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
BARGAINING (Aragon) can be well situated near an expected rapid pace and Bay Area invader runs best when drawn outside horses. SWISS GAME (Orozco) dueled inside winner for lead midway on the turn of last needed third-place try after 10-month layoff and gets a seven pound weight break with apprentice up. BOMBAY BOB (Guce) exits four consecutive 870-yard races when near the pacesetters and jockey/trainer team was very hot last year.

Pick Four Selections: $1 wager is $24. 6th Race (3,4,6); 7th Race (1,2); 8th Race (1,2,5,6); 9th Race (1). $1 wager is $90. 6th Race (3,4,6); 7th Race (1,2,5,6,7); 8th Race (1,2,4,5,6,7); 9th Race (1).

6TH RACE: Purse $11,000, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 870 yards.
TRICKORTREAT (J Sanchez) seeks fourth straight victory, looms one to catch and fits restricted conditions nicely. SHINING HOPE (Aragon) rallied from between horses to post neck win at this distance in last and rallied along the inside in prior runnerup try. BOUND FOR HEAVEN (F Martinez) was in tight quarters midway down the backstretch after getting bumped steadily early in last and has shown solid early speed under this rider.

7TH RACE: Purse $12,500, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 550 yards.
KOTUR (Rangel) went strong past the wire in last fourth-place 350-yard outing and extra distance should be up his alley. MISS LOUJEAN (Bednar) unleashed huge surge during the final 1/8 of last neck loss at this route vs. four-time 550 stakes winner He Is The Risingstar. MICKEY WARD (C Mendez) has run well in last pair at this distance vs. stakes company and is well drawn.

8TH RACE: Purse $8,610, claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.
MUMS THE WORD (Huerta) turned her head when gate opened while off very slow vs. much tougher in last before moving nicely past the wire. BLING IT (DeAlba) outfinished troubled top pick by .013 in last sixth-place try at higher level and retains leading rider. BLOWN A WAY (C Mendez) was solid second vs. class-dropping winner in first local try and gets a positive post switch.

9TH RACE: Purse $12,900, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 100 yards.
LOTTA DYNASTY (C Mendez) scored two strong wins at this distance late last year and also won a stakes last summer. UNCLAIMED DIVIDEND (Ayala) stumbled in the hind quarters while never getting untracked in last and broke sharp in prior stakes win. SNOWY CORONITAS (R Aceves) is capable of quick start, sizzled in Sacramento stakes win last summer and is well drawn.

BEST BET: LOTTA DYNASTY (9TH RACE)
