1ST RACE: Purse $9,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, fillies and mares, 4 ½ furlongs.
    AVO (J Sanchez) looms the speed of the speed and new barn does well with first-out claims. GRACEE HUNNY (Orozco) adds the flipping halter after coming away very slow in last fifth-place try and defeated eventual $3,200 winner Cowgirl N Thecity in prior runnerup outing. JENNIFER DOLL (Bednar) was well placed behind the dueling leaders on the far turn of last runnerup try and has been improved in last pair for strong connections.
 
2ND RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     THIS TIME I WIN (Franco) was caught in tight quarters near the wire when sixth at shorter distance vs. much stronger two outs ago and hails from strong barn. PAPA AL (Fernandez) was overmatched in last outing over the daytime one-mile oval and was second at this level in prior pair. CONDITION (E Hernandez) had speed sharpened inlast third-place try six nights ago at shorter route and can improve further while making four start since November.
 
3RD RACE: Purse $6,750, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     ROYAL JORDAN (C Mendez) drops into the maiden claiming ranks for the first time and bobbled inward at the start of last sixth-place try vs. class-dropping winner. ROSE DYNASTY (Zapien) was fourth vs. repeat maiden $6,250 runnerup Texas Tornadoe in last and faced winner dropping down from a maiden $12,500 claimer in prior runnerup debut. FAVORITE VALENTINE (R Hernandez) never looked comfortable from the rail post when lugging inward to the 1/16-pole in last seventh-place try vs. much tougher.

4TH RACE: Purse $12,000, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 870 yards.
     RUNBRORUN (Bednar) looked sharp in last two wire-to-wire victories and looms elusive target again. UPPER MESA FALLS (Mitchell) was respectable fifth over the daytime one-mile oval vs. stronger five days ago and won his prior three tries at this route. IT’S JUST BOB (Fernandez) saved ground on the far turn of last fifth-place try as the favorite at this distance and was no worse than third in prior four 870-yard outings.
 
5TH RACE: Purse $7,150, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     HEADED FOR UTAH (R Aceves) shifted out to get bumped near the 1/8-pole when fourth in last outing vs. tougher while facing runnerup who since won a trial. CIELO TRES SEIS (Ayala) showed good early acceleration in last runnerup try vs. class-dropping winner and has solid connections. JESS NUTTY SWEET (Arriaga) broke sharp in last neck loss at this level when facing eventual $12,500 third-place finisher Favorite Touch.
 
6TH RACE: Purse $6,655, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 330 yards.
     WILLOW ROCKIN JAY (Arvizu) came away in sluggish style after moving his head slightly at the start of last improved runnerup try and adds the flipping halter. RHYTHM N BLUES GIRL (Ayala) broke very slow in last seventh-place outing when running hard past the wire and lands meet’s second leading rider. THOUGHT IT THROUGH (Gomez) wasn’t badly beaten for second after getting bumped solidly from both sides early in last and draws nice post.
 
7TH RACE: Purse $7,425, maidens, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
     KING OF APPEALS MV (Ayala) lugged out during the final 1/8 of last neck loss from the rail post and moves to the outside here. RHEMY MARKO (DeAlba) was second from the rail post in last trial outing and was third in debut vs. runnerup who since ran fourth in the Ed Burke Million. CORONA FIREWORKS (Franco) was improved fifth in last trial outing and swerved in sharply near the 1/8-pole in prior debut to ignore when drawn on the rail.
 
BEST BET: RUNBRORUN (4TH RACE)
