VOLUNTARY (Aragon) has the versatility to win from on/off the pace and five-time winner fits restricted conditions well. CHARMING ONE (Orozco) sheds 10 pounds with switch to seven-pound apprentice rider after last fourth-place try and can be well positioned early. RAINSFORD (Hernandez) has won two of last three vs. easier and was compromised by rough start two outs ago.
2ND RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
CIPHER (Aragon) took up solidly past the ½-pole when battling inside two horses for the lead in last Golden Gate outing to ignore and gets a solid distance rider for local bow. SPEEDIN WITH EDDIE (Guce) caught a soft maiden field for maiden win at shorter route in last and was second over the daytime one-mile oval two outs ago. CHARLIE MONKEY (Bednar) is back at best distance and lacked room deep on the turn when third at this level two outs ago.
3RD RACE: Purse $8,310, claiming, 2 year olds, 330 yards.
CARTELS (Peinado) didn’t break alertly in lat sixth-place try vs. much tougher and was third two outs ago vs. eventual $16,000 winner Kassandra. BY ANY MEANS (Perez) went strong during the final 1/8 of lat solid neck maiden win and gets an extra 30 yards here. ALL AVOUT CARTEL (Arriaga) finished running hard for third vs. class-dropping winner in last at this distance and is well drawn.
4TH RACE: Purse $6,745, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
ZEE OH SIX (Ayala) has been no worse than third in last five tries vs. stronger and trainer is having strong meet with limited stable. TYLERS MARKSMAN (Arriaga) lugged out solidly to get bumped early in last trial outing and was third vs. two-time futurity qualifier Seared two races back. MOVIN POWERFULLY (Guymon) gets positive class hike after last two runnerup tries when earning sharp Trackmaster speed figures.

FIRST TO FALL (Ayala) broke sharp in last runnerup try vs. sizzling winner and is overdue for maiden victory. FAVORITE CLASS (Lozano) debuts for trainer who has done very well with his freshmen crop and broke sharp in last two promising drills.
6TH RACE: Purse $11,325, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 330 yards.
DASH FLYS TA FAME (Luna) was caught in tight quarters briefly when bumped past the 1/16-pole in last fifth-place try and faces easier in this restricted allowance field. OKAYS CANDY CAT (Lozano) needed last fourth-place try after 19-week layoff and scored daylight prior maiden win. KEYPER (Huerta) had clear sailing when third at this level in last vs. solid field while earning lofty 95 Trackmaster speed figure.
7TH RACE: Purse $12,600, allowance, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 350 yards.
MILLION DOLLAR KISS (Ayala) scored rapid stakes win from the rail post in last and jockey/trainer team has been doing well. SEND ME THIS WAGON (E Nicasio) rallied nicely from the rail post to score nose stakes win at longer distance in last and has winning habit. ALL RIGHT NOW (Bourdieu) is sharp Arizona invader who leaned back when the gate opened in last to ignore.
8TH RACE: Purse $600,000, Champion Of Champions, 3 year olds and up, 440 yards.
HEZA DASHA FIRE (C Mendez) is the defending world champion who has sparkled in last two wins and runs best with short layoffs. AJS HIGH (Smith) beat prior Grade I runnerup BH Lisas Boy with strong last 1/8 in last sharp victory and is a win machine. HE LOOKS HOT (Huerta) showed his past class with daylight win vs. softer stakes field in last and beat top pick in 2014 Los Alamitos Two Million.
