     EL GATO GUAPO (Tapia) set fast pace when third at this level in last outing 10 months ago and posted quick 3-furlong drill last month while preparing for return. CLEARLY QUIET (Guce) beat eventual $2,000 winner Flash Dancer in last neck win at this level and retains leading rider. EL NOTRE (Conklin) battled outside runnerup for lead during the final quarter mile of last sharp win over speed-favoring oval while beating recent $2,000 winner Andrew's Courage.

 

2ND RACE: Purse $6,500, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2 furlongs.

     JEANN D'ARC (Russell) was well placed behind pacesetting winner down the backstretch in last third-place try and catches a fairly paceless field here. MAS RAPIDA (Sandoval) showed speed in maiden win two outs ago and was bumped around from both sides at the start of last fourth-place outing. COLOR ME DIXIE (Tapia) was fanned wide into the lane in last distant runnerup try vs. class-dropping winner.

 

3RD RACE: Purse $6,670, claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.

     DUSTEM ALL (Mendez) has never lost for this barn and can fire fresh. RGR OAK TREE RUN (Andrade) lugged in throughout after an alert start in last sharp win at lower level and adds lasix. JAZZY AND QUICK (De Alba) drifted in near the 1/16-pole in last runnerup try and outside post suits late-running style.

 

4TH RACE: Purse $6,500, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2 furlongs.

     LEGENDARY MUD (M S Garcia) found best stride too late in last fifth-place try vs. repeat $5,000 winner Alpine Sport and takes a big class drop. SHOOTING SEQUENCE (Conklin) battled for lead through solid 21.36 opening quarter and won gamely in last over 14-time lifetime winner I Love Racing. ZENDON (Tapia) drifted out on the far turn when battling for command and never quit trying in last runnerup try vs. prior $2,000 winner We Love Ya Too.

     FOREST HAWK (Guce) was strong runnerup vs. promising debut winner after 21-month layoff in first local try and retains leading rider. CEE'S NO PRISONERS (Contreras) showed speed vs. stronger three outs ago at Santa Anita and has encouraging work tab over a conventional dirt San Luis Rey Downs oval for return. WHISPER ME THIS (Gavica) broke slow and rallied extremely wide into the lane in last runnerup try vs. own sex.

 

6TH RACE: Purse $11,325, claiming, 4 year olds and up, 330 yards.

     CA NUTHER MALONE (Andrade) broke slow from the rail post in last sixth-place try vs. sizzling winner and was solid prior third after stumbling sharply at the start. ARMYGUY (A Bautista) beat top pick two outs ago and was well clear of the fourth horse in last third-place try at this level. JW MARSHALL (Huerta) posted quick 18.1 gate drill for comeback and beat easier after similar layoff two outs ago.

 

7TH RACE: Purse $12,800, allowance, 4 year olds and up, 350 yards.

     WANTED SEPARATIST (Sanchez) earned a lofty 110 Equibase speed figure when sizzling to the night's fastest 300-yard win vs. easier in last. JP RHYTHM (Mendez) veered out while bumped off stride from the rail post in last fourth-place try and was fourth in last year's Go Man Go Handicap. HEZA HOT HABIT (A Bautista) beat prior $40,000 winner Armyguy in last head setback and barn has been hot.

 

8TH RACE: Purse $5,770, claiming, 4 year olds and up, 550 yards.

     THE BLUE THRILLER (Gomez) was strong second at higher level in last when facing prior $4,000 runnerup Ft Sepcial Cartel and was troubled fourth vs. better at this route six outs ago. DENNZ EXPRESS (Kelsey) looked sharp in last win 13 weeks ago over recent $2,500 first-place finisher Hez My Runner and was second vs. repeat $5,000 winner Snow Patrol two outs ago. RARE GOLDEN PLAN (De Alba) finished with run from between horses after breaking slow in last Fresno outing five months ago and connections clicked with JP Secret Cash here last week.
