     CORI CELESTI (Guce) has overcome pace pressure in last two solid wins and five-time first-place finishers fits restricted conditions nicely. PRINCESS VAL (A Bautista) rallied nicely when outfinishing recent $3,200 fourth-place finisher Hot Rock Hallie in last and should get positive pace scenario to help late surge again. YODEL UP A STORM (Santos) was disqualified from stretch-running win in last when causing horse to clip heels and is off-the-pace threat again.
 
2ND RACE: Purse $7,500, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     AARON’S THUNDER (Roman) set a moderate pace when dropping neck photo vs. class-dropping winner in last and is the proven commodity. GRAYDEN (Bednar) looms plenty fit based on 11 drills since November 29 for debut and dam dropped two-time winner De Nada. SIR DADNGER (F Rodriguez) showed speed in 2014 Santa Anita debut two outs back and has steady local work tab for comeback.
 
3RD RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     DYNAMITE WIND (Jimenez) has shown improved early speed in last two good tries and was third in last vs. prior $5,000 runnerup Hot As A Cat. VALLEY SPIRIT (Bednar) opened big lead around the far turn of last runnerup try when making second start in 11 weeks and looms speed of the speed. END OF TIME (Roman) was fourth twice when setting the pace vs. stronger here last December and maiden win came locally last October.
 
4TH RACE: Purse $8,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     SWEET JUJU (Medina) dueled for the lead in a paceless field when improved runnerup in last and is the field’s lone multiple winner. TODAI SING (Santos) is better than last sixth-place try indicates and forced the pace in prior third-place try at this level. TWENTY FOUR BLACK (Guce) rallied nicely along the inside midway on the far turn of last maiden win vs. easy field and trainer is having solid meet.

5TH RACE: Purse $7,000, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
     BOUND FOR HEAVEN (Guce) takes big class drop and showed solid speed when second on this oval four races back during the winter daytime meet. PINSTRIPE PRIDE (Santos) has good workout foundation for debut with nine drills since last December 6 and apprentice is having strong meet. DUTCH COURAGE (Boag) didn’t break alertly in last Santa Anita outing and was prominent early vs. stronger two outs ago.
 
6TH RACE: Purse $5,965, claiming, 3 year olds, 300 yards.
     SPOILER ALERT (C Mendez) veered in several lanes at the start of last third-place try from the rail post and retains leading rider. MEDDLER (Huerta) drops into easier spot after shifting in to get bumped early over wet oval in last fourth-place try and lands nice post. HARA DASHER (Sanchez) finished .10 ahead of second pick I last third-place etry and is one of two class droppers in this group.
 
7TH RACE: Purse $6,655, maiden claiming, 3 year olds, 330 yards.
     MORENO GUAPO (Luna) has faced winners in three of last four tries and dropped neck photo in rapid maiden outing five outs back. BMA LAKE VAN (Sanchez) moved well late in last head loss vs. recent $6,250 winner Vouelle and is well drawn. KNIGHT HUNTER (C Mendez) added flipping halter in last head setback at this distance and had troubled starts in prior two runnerup outs.
 
8TH RACE: Purse $15,000, Florentine Overnight Handicap, fillies, 3 year olds, 330 yards.
     ONE PROMPT JJ (C Mendez) has won 50 percent of her 10 starts and outside post suits late-running style. ITS TEMPTING (E Garcia) had three-race win streak snapped when bumped back solidly after breaking poorly in last sixth-place outing. JESS CUZ (DeAlba) broke about one length slow in last neck maiden stakes trial loss and looked strong in maiden win three races ago.
