1ST RACE: Purse $10,000, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
CHARMING ONE (Guce) tracked class-dropping pacesetting winner throughout in last sharp runnerup try and has been much improved in last pair. NO BACHI (Santos) had a clean trip when finishing 1 ¼ lengths behind top pick in last third-place try and won two of his prior three outs when well positioned early. REDISTRIBUTE (Charlton) made an uncontested early lead in last runnerup try vs. slightly easier and overcame pace pressure in prior victory at lower level.
2ND RACE: Purse $7,000, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
HOLLYWOOD RIVIERA (Jimenez) checked back solidly from between horses about 50 yards after the start of last better-than-looked fifth-place try and adds blinkers. BITUIN (Guce) had ground-saving trip into the stretch when second as the favorite at this level in last and has been no worse than third in four local tries at this route. LA FORTUNADA (Iniguez) looms an early threat in this fairly paceless field and was only a neck behind second pick in last fourth-place try.
3RD RACE: Purse $7,500, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 ½ furlongs.
COULDASHOULDADID (Santos) hits hard at this class level and charts to make the early lead after last third-place try vs. wire-to-wire winner who set a solid pace. ERCOLES (Hernandez) lacked racing room along the inside deep on the far turn and never found total clearance during the final 1/8 of last fourth-place try. DANCE THE WALTZ (Orozco) is better than last fifth-place try indicates and benefits by a seven-pound apprentice allowance.
4TH RACE: Purse $12,000, allowance, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 870 yards.
WONDERFUL BECKY (Bednar) had picture tracking trip on the far turn of lat sharp win at longer route and was second in three 870-yard races last year. EVENING AGAIN (Charlton) avoided trouble encountered by three of her six rivals around the far turn of last runnerup try at this route and has winning connections. LIZZY MARINI (Boag) is sharp Bay Area speedster who seeks fifth straight victory and should like the shorter route.
5TH RACE: Purse $7,425, maidens, fillies, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
STAGGERING STRIDE (R Aceves) was knocked off stride at the start of last solid fourth-place stakes outing and is back with maidens. CATCHING FIRE (C Mendez) looked much improved in recent 12.10 solo gate drill when displaying a nice stride under a hand ride while lugging in steadily throughout. COMELY (Huerta) outworked two rivals in last good 12.2 gate drill when finishing with a nice stride while drifting inward.

ONE SWEET HIT (Guymon) never maintained a straight course in last sixth-place trial outing and was third vs. tougher maiden field two outs ago. FAMES DASH (DeAlba) showed ability when third in first local try two weeks ago when facing prior maiden $16,000 runnerup Red Cocopeerry. JESS FOR FAME (C Mendez) exits a rapid debut outing vs. tougher field and borke fast while veering in steadily at the start of prior 12.3 gate drill.
7TH RACE: Purse $6,750, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
LEGAL STORM (Luna) broke slow while getting bumped at the start of last seventh-place outing when facing upcoming futurity finalist A Bit Quirky and drops into a maiden claimer. SMOOTHE OPERATOR (Huerta) veered in two lanes at the start of well-beaten fourth-place debut from a tougher post and went well under a hand ride in prior 12.4 drill. MALAGUENA SALEROSA (DeAlba) makes first start for strong jockey/trainer team and gets a favorable post draw.
8TH RACE: Purse $11,325, allowance, fillies, 2 year olds, 330 yards.
START SOMETHIN BAD (DeAlba) easily posted the night’s fastest of three 300-yard victories in last sharp maiden win over runnerup who since scored daylight maiden victory. LUCKJURY (A Bautista) was bumped at intervals to the 1/8-pole in last seventh-place trial out and beat eventeual trial winner Heartbeat in prior debut. DOWAGER (Huerta) is very quick from the gate and posted strong maiden win in last after prior runnerup try vs. recent trial winner Up For Plenty.
9TH RACE: Purse $15,000, allowance, 3 year olds and up, 400 yards.
JESS CUZ (Ayala) ran a terrific 8.00 first 130 yards of sizzling comeback win five weeks ago and was second in a Grade I derby last year. SASS ME BLUE (R Aceves) was second in three Grade I races over a nine-week span last winter and is well drawn for return. LOTTA DYNASTY (C Mendez) broke super in last head win over multiple Grade I victor Far Niente and will try to carry his speed another 100 yards.
