Owned by RTM Stables and Dick Wasia and ridden by Ramon Guce, the 9-year-old iron horse Cajun Gent continued his winning ways after posting his seventh victory in a row on Saturday at Los Alamitos. Trained by Ryan Hanson, the Kentucky-bred gelding by Yankee Gentleman won race number seven on the night. He improved his lifetime record to 18 wins in 47 career starts. After going a perfect six for six last year, Cajun Gent continued his winning ways with a half-length victory in the 4 1/2 furlong race. He earned $4,900 for the win to take his lifetime earnings to $229,035.
