Los Alamitos Race Course is proud to host the 38th running of the Grade 1 $750,000 Champion of Champions at 440 yards on Saturday, December 12.

The Champion of Champions is the richest event for older horses in the nation and it has traditionally impacted several championship divisions over the years. All in all 24 of the 37 winners have been crowned World Champions. Legendary Quarter Horses like Charger Bar, Dash For Cash and Refrigerator have won the Champion of Champions since its inception in 1972.

In addition to the Champions of Champions on Saturday, December 12, Los Alamitos will play host to the $2,000,000 Los Alamitos Two Million and the $40,000 Los Alamitos Juvenile Stakes on Friday, December 11th. The weekend closes out with the running of the Southern California Derby on Sunday, December 13.
