1ST RACE: Purse $5,715, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2
furlongs.
PERFECTLY SPOILED (D Navarro) broke very slow, rushed up to make the lead and gamely held
second in debut vs. recent $2,000 winner Court Ballado. TARHEEL ROSE (Contreras) showed good speed
when caught on the wire in head debut runnerup try and hails form leading thoroughbred barn. NITRO
LADY (Charlton) flashed solid speed in four Arizona outings and joins high-percentage Jim Hanson
barn.
2ND RACE: Purse $5,900, maiden claiming, 2 year olds, 220 yards.
JUST IN THYME (Suarez) broke fast before lugging out steadily during the final 1/18 of last
runnerup try as the favorite. DANCIN INJUN (Conklin) ran hard for second in last vs. rapid winner who
recorded the night's second fastest 300-yard clocking. MEMPHIS (A Bautista) rallied for third from
the rail post after breaking slow in last and gets a positive post switch.
3RD RACE: Purse $6,165, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2 furlongs.
DOWNTOWON BANKER (De Alba) has been prominent early vs. much stronger and joins hot Keith
Craigymyle barn. SUMTHINGSGOTTOGIVE (A Bautista) had dirt thrown in her face when dropping back along
the inside down the backstretch when better-than-looked fifth in first local try at higher level. MY
TICKET TO RIDE (Guce) stumbled and lost early position from between horses when fourth vs.
class-dropping winner in first local out.
4TH RACE: Purse $5,600, maiden claiming, 3 year olds and up, 300 yards.
SHES DRIVEN (De Alba) is quick breaker who drops in class and has been no worse than third in
last seven starts. OUTTAGETYA (Rubio) kept to his task in last third-place try vs. sharp winner who
was posting the night's third fastest 300-yard clocking. RASCALED (Suarez) drops to his lowest level
and broke fast while no worse than third in last four starts.
5TH RACE: Purse $5,565, thoroughbreds, claiming, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2 furlongs.
PUT BACK THE ZIP (D Navarro) adds blinkers for third start of comeback and looms elusive target
after battling between horses for command midway on the far turn of last. UNIQUE EFFORT (Charlton)
was floated wide into the lane when second in first local try at this level when facing prior $2,000
runnerup American Games. PRINCE SNOWBOUND (Gavica) had speed sharpened in last 870-yard outing and
forced the pace past the 3/8-pole vs. similar two outs ago.

6TH RACE: Purse $5,715, thoroughbreds, maiden claiming, fillies and mares, 3 year olds and up, 4 1/2
furlongs.
MARK OF A STAR (Sandoval) was in contention early when fifth vs. much stronger at Fairplex two
outs ago and was fourth at slightly shorter route three outs ago. MS HONKYTONK WOMAN (Guce) easily
clear for lead at Fresno in last improved third-place try and lands leading distance rider for local
bow. GLENDA (D Navarro) was well-placed second vs. sizzling class-dropping winner approaching the
5/16-pole before tiring to seventh in debut at higher level.
7TH RACE: Purse $7,035, maidens, fillies, 2 year olds, 300 yards.
SIXES BAYOU (Sanchez) broke very slow in last pair and beat eventual maiden winner Giannis
Cartel with alert start three outs ago. DON'T PASS BAR (Jerman) ran hard for second in last pair and
gets a good post draw. OCEAN TACS (Huerta) broke sharp in both drills and drifted inward when
outworking rival in first 12.1 gate move.
8TH RACE: Purse $1,000,000 Los Alamitos Super Derby, 3 year olds, 400 yards.
FOOSE (Sanchez) was not asked for best in 3/4-length trial win and millionaire ran super when
dropping prior head derby photo. FANTASTIC CORONA JR (Jensen) responded gamely for nose win vs.
strong trial field in last and was solid prior second in All-American Derby. TRES PASSES (Kelsey)
gets off the rail after last third-place trial outing and won two major Grade I futurities here in
2008.
9TH RACE: Purse $6,850, claiming, fillies, 3 year olds, 220 yards.
CHICKS LOVE AFFAIR (Rubio) is very quick from the gate and sharp filly dropped head photo in
the night's fastest 300-yard dash two weeks ago. BONOS EASE (De Alba) veered in solidly at the start
of last sixth-place try vs. the oppoisite sex and dropped tight photo vs. prior $5,000 winner Flaming
Corona two outs ago. BRIANS GIRL (Nicasio) was pushed out after veering in to get bumped at the start
of last head win and is nicely drawn.
BEST BET: PERFECTLY SPOILED (1ST RACE)
