wide-spread operation has helped him become the nation's leading owner in terms
of wins four different times. He was the leading owner with 56 wins in 2000; 68
in 2002; 76 in 2003; and 70 in 2004 . Anjora Corp. also finished fourth in the
nation in terms of money earned with $733,822. At Los
Alamitos, Carlos' top sprinters included Flyn GT, the runner-up in the Ed Burke
Memorial Futurity and third place finisher in the Governor's Cup Futurity, and
Deefirst, the winner of the Southern California Derby in 2003 and third place
finisher in the Spencer Childers California Breeders Championship Handicap. He
also campaigned Awise Chick, who qualified to the Golden State and Governor's
Cup derbies. In recent years, Anjora Corp. has been represented locally by
champion aged stallion Takin On Spoon Man, La Primera Del Ano Derby winner More
Heart, and former track record holder Classic First. Juan Aleman and Paul
Jones will share the training duties on the Anjora Corporation horses in 2005.
