Daytime Thoroughbred racing returns to Orange County on Friday, Dec. 6 with the Los Alamitos Winter Meet. First post is 12:30 PM. The opening weekend will include the Starlet on Saturday, Dec. 7. The meet continues through Sunday, December 15. 6 days of racing with day/night doubleheaders on Saturdays and Sundays!
Los Alamitos is adding $10,000 to the Pick 6 pool this Sunday night! The $10,000 in extra money is for players to go after in the $2 traditional Pick 6. First post is 5 PM with the Pick 6 starting in race 3! The Derby trials are races 5-8 with a seven horse field in each race. The $10,000 is added to the Pick 6 pool if there's not a carryover.
Los Alamitos is open for daytime simulcasting seven days a week, bringing the best of racing from tracks like Gulfstream, Aqueduct, Churchill and more. Burgart’s at Los Alamitos Race Course is open Friday through Sunday for daytime simulcasting and Saturday and Sunday night for LIVE racing! The room features over 60 HDTVs and easy to access self-service wagering terminals. Admission is $10 starting on May 13. Burgart's will also remain open AFTER the last race on Saturday and Sunday night with $5 beers, food specials, $1 pool, music and more.
