           Reliance Ranches and trainer Mike Robbins unveiled three highly promising 2-year-olds during morning workouts on Tuesday, March 12. The trio of Jessfamouslady, Dreams Divine and Invader worked as a set with the Apollitical Jess filly Dreams Divine outworking her stablemates while covering the 220 yards in :12.20 from the middle of the track.

Bred in Oklahoma by J. Garvan Kelly, J.L. Yother and Nancy Yearsley, Dreams Divine is out of Tres Seis mare Answer The Dream, a winner of five races and over $264,375 in an outstanding racing career. Answer The Dream won the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Winter Derby in 2018 and finished second in that’s year’s Grade 1 La Primera Del Ano Derby. She also finished third in the Grade 1 Los Alamitos Super Derby. The following year, Answer The Dream finished third in the Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap while facing the top distaffers in the country. Answer The Dream would eventually travel to Remington Park to win the Grade 3 Junior Request Stakes.

Answer The Dream is the mother of current sophomore star Symbol Of Faith, a filly by Tac It Like A Man who recently qualified to this year’s La Primera Del Ano Derby. She ran in the Heritage Place Futurity and Golden State Million Futurity last year. Answer The Dream is also the dam of Splendid Cause, who won the $30,000 Golden State Juvenile Stakes at Los Alamitos in 2017, and Dreams Answered, an allowance winner at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Oklahoma.    

Working to the outside of Dreams Divine, the Tres Seis gelding named Invader covered the 220 yards in a solid :12.30. Invader is out of the Runaway Winner mare Racing Winner, who won five races and $66,864 in a career that began in 2000 through 2003. Owned by Jerry Windham, Racing Winner was a stakes winner at both Lone Star Park and Canterbury Downs. As a broodmare, Racing Winner has produced Winners Cartel, who finished seventh in the 2009 All American Futurity while earning $145,292, and Racing Streak, who qualified to the 2007 Ruidoso Futurity in addition to winning three stakes races and a total of $64,484. She’s also the dam of 870-yard star Zoomin Racer, a winner of nine races and $197,603. Zoomin Racer won the Grade 1 AQHA Distance Challenge Championship and Grade 2 Remington Park Distance Championship in 2017.

Jessfamouslady was the other participant in this drill, as the Lousiana-bred filly worked from the inside post in a time of :12.5. Sired by Mr Jess Perry and out of Famous Corona Lady. Jessfamouslady is a full sister to 2018 Ruidoso Futurity third place finisher Jest Famous, who finished his 2-year-old campaign by winning the $150,000 South West Juvenile Championship on December 2. Jest Famous finished his juvenile campaign by hitting the board in all seven of his starts. As for Jessfamouslady and Jest Famous’ dam, Famous Corona Lady, she won three races and earned $184,408 in her career. Her racing highlights include finishing fifth in the 2014 Ruidoso Futurity, running second in her trial to the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity and winning her trial to the All American Derby in 2015.

There were three other 2-year-olds that worked as part of a three-horse seat on Tuesday, March 12. Two of these workers were the Lorenzo Ruiz-trained duo of Monarch 59 and Cincinnatus Eagle, who had previously worked March 5. Monarch 59’s first drill was timed in :12.5 before improving to :12.4 on Tuesday. Cincinnatus Eagle’s first drill was in :13.4 before his most recent work of :12.8.

 Trained by Felix Gonzalez, Ventura Jess Jqm worked from the outside post in a time of :12.4 on Tuesday. A filly by Apollitical Jess, Ventura Jess Jqm’s dam is Personal Glory, the third place finisher in the Grade 1 Ed Burke Million Futurity in 2010. Personal Glory also qualified to the Grade 1 Kindergarten Futurity in 2010 and the Restricted Grade 1 Governor’s Cup Derby in 2011.
