Los Alamitos Race Course contested a total of 78 Quarter Horse stakes race during the 2019 season with just 16 runners scoring more than one stakes wins. He Looks Hot, BH Lisas Boy, Powerful Favorite and Well Good tied for the most stakes victories during the meet with three each.

Chickititas Favorite, Tequila Sangria, Bos Time Machine, Thermonuclear Energy, Striver, Conquering Marie, Yanque, Run Raging Rhino Run, Tough To Figure, Jest Famous, Mr Appolitical and Jess A Cowboy each won two stakes races last season.

Vinnie Bednar led all Quarter Horse jockeys with 13 stakes wins last season. Eduardo Nicasio (10), Jesus Rios Ayala (8), Oscar Andrade, Jr. (7) and Ruben Lozano (5) completed the top five.  Scott Willoughby finished as the meet’s leading trainer in stakes wins with 14. He was followed by Chris O’Dell (10), Paul Jones (7), Monty Arrossa (5), Matt Fales (5) and Jesus Nunez (5). Ed Allred was the leading owner in stakes wins with 15. EG High Desert Farms (5), Dr. Steve Burns (4) and Rosenthal Ranch (4) were among the other leading owners in this category.
