2-YEAR-OLDS WORKOUT REVIEW

#1 Fabulous N Rare – March 26:12.40 at 220 yards - Inside horse in 3-horse set:Was part of a three-horse drill when finishing 2nd in the workout in a time of :12.40.Her time was the 5th fastest of 24 on March 26. Trainer Felix Gonzalez opted to leave open stalls to either side of Fabulous N Rare in this work, giving her a lot of room to run. The daughter of One Fabulous Eagle broke a tad slow in this drill slow and then shifting inside before moving back out while under urging from her exercise rider. She finished nicely before drifting out during her gallop out.

#2 La Jaconde – March 31 :12.70 -Inside horse: Posted the 16th fastest of 36 drills on March 31 when working in tandem with Interragator, who’ll break from post number eight in this race. Trainer Jaime Gomez decided not to use blinkers on La Jaconde for this work. She’ll break inside at the start and will continue float towards the inner rail and will be asked twice. She looks good during the second half of the drill and will continue to show a nice stride in her gallop out.

#3 Untuckit – April 4 :13.0 -Inside horse: Purchased for $50,000 at the 2019 Los AlamitosEquine Sale, Untuckit will work alongside Better Version in this April 4 drill.A colt by Favorite Cartel out of Make Over, Better Version was the $247,000 high seller at the Equine Sale last year. Also by Favorite Cartel, Untuckit will break slow and about a ½ length behind his workmate. He’ll float to theinside and conducts the work on his own. He’s never pushed by his rider. Untuckit will lug outside after the wire and in fact will bump with Better Version around the clubhouse turn but does show a strong gallop out from there.

#4 Jet Wings One – March 31:12.30 - Outside horse: This filly will take on a gelding named HezFired Up during this March 31 drill. Jet Wings One will post the fastest of 36 drills this morning doing so from the outside post when breaking perfectly and quickly finding her stride. She wants to drift in shortly after gap and exercise rider will correct her left-handed once and will later ask her twice more with his left. She’s full of run at that point and will win the drill by a length followed by an okay gallop out. She was moving her around just a bit before the start.

#5 Sin Tachas Nacho – March 3112.70 - Outside horse: Will work evenly against a ScottWilloughby-trained Favorite Cartel runner named Criminality on March 31. Sin Tachas Nacho will leave the gate from an outside post and the 16th fastest of 36 drills on March 31. This Indiana-bred will break in at the start but quickly finds a nice stride and will continue solidly from there. Will be asked a couple of times during the second half of the work and keeps up with workmate throughout the drill. He’ll shift to the outside during the gallop out but it’s an overall solid drill.

#6 PYC Power Glide – March 31:12.60 - Inside Drill: Will win this drill when facing a colt by name of DF Favorite Honor on March 31. PYC Power Glide will also post the 9th fastest of 36 drills. He hops out the gate but is quick into his stride. Will slide to the inside when tapped right handed but continues to show a strong stride through the wire and during his gallop out.

#7 Kingman Born – March 21 :12.40- Outside horse: Had the 13th fastest of 67 drills when outworking Tip Your Hat To That from the outside post by 1 ½ lengths on March 21. Tip Your Hat To That ran second in his debut at 13-1 odds to Unstoppable One while racing the 300-yards in :16.09. Kingman Born had a slight hop out of the gate but broke evenly with his foe. He picked up speed during the second half of the work while jockey never moved a muscle. Horse will move in just a tad at the wire, but the key is that the rider sat chilly the entire drill and never pushed the horse during this drill. Kingman Born continued with a solid gallop out.

#8 Interragator – March 31 :12.40- Outside horse: Will work from the outside post versus La Jaconde, who is starting from post number two in this race. An $18,000 purchase at the 2019 Ruidoso Yearling Sale, Interragator will break sharply before wanting to drift inward. He’ll be corrected by the exercise rider and will find a nice lane to finish the work. Rider will grab a hold of the horse just as they hit the wire. Horse looks primed to show more in his debut.
