GATE WORKS – SATURDAY, JUNE 13
Race 6 – Maiden Claiming $12,500 – 2-Year-Olds at 300 yards
#2 Born Quik – May 19 :13.10 – Outside Horse

Foose colt broke slowly and drifted out slightly early on but otherwise ran on a straight path when working in :13.1o on May 19. Jockey had a big hold on the runner the entire way when winning the drill in ¼ length over Katrina QT. Born Quik continued to gallop out under a hold.
#7 Interest First – May 26 :12.80 – Inside Horse
Filly by Seperate Interest stumbled very lightly when leaving the gate on a May 26th drill. She was asked several times early on while showing good stride. She floated in slightly during the later stages of the drill while finishing a length behind the Volcom filly Lethal Dream.
Race 7 – Maidens - 2-Year-Old Fillies at 300 yards
#2 Registrant – May 9 :12.30 at 220 yards – Inside Horse
Kiddy Up filly outworked the filly Pleased As Punch 12.3 to12.5. Registrant left the gate sharply and was striding out nicely right away. She was asked once right-handed, drifted in during the second half of the work, but continued to have the lead while finishing the work under a hand-ride. Registrant posted the 5th fastest of 20 drills on May 9.
#3 Bail Me Out Bebe – May 26 :12.70 – Outside Horse
Bail Me Out Bebe worked against a 2-year-old sired by Two Corona Special on May 26. Bail Me Out Bebe acted up in the gate and left the gate roughly, breaking in, hopping and bumping rival while looking very green during the initial portion of her work. She floated inside and jockey grabbed a good hold of her, as she began to show good acceleration and then very nice speed during the second half of the drill. She easily moved past her rival and went on to win by a length in a time of 12.70, the fifth fastest of 11 drills on May 26.
Race 8 – Maidens - 2-Year-Olds at 300 yards
#1 El Bobito Bet Cartel – May 12 :12.60 – Outside Horse
The Favorite Cartel gelding outworked the filly Racing N Lace 12.60 to 12.80 on May 12. El Bobito Bet Cartel was a bit fidgety before the start and whipped his head to the side as the gate opened for the start of the drill. He broke to the inside while showing some early quickness. He responded with a burst of speed after being encouraged left-handed several times. He pulled away from rival in the final 50 yards while winning the work by 1 ½ lengths and continued with a good gallop out past the wire. His time was the 7th fastest of 18 drills.
#5 Baccarat Attack – April 30 :13.0 – Inside Horse
Was outworked by Powerline Road 12.60 to 13.0. The video of this work is not available.
#6 Other World – May 23 :12.4 – Inside Horse
Foose gelding outworked the filly Verifiable 12.4 to 12.8 when posting the 3rd fastest of 11 drills. Other World broke sharply while drifting to the inside. He quickly evened out and show a nice stride, quickness, and smooth stride. He conducted the work all on his own and continued sharply the entire way while posting a tremendous gallop out past the wire.
Race 9 – Allowance – 3-Year-Olds & Up at 330 yards
#4 Badhabit Jess – May 5 :18.3 – Solo
A graded stakes place arrives from New Mexico with earnings of over $172,000 in his career. Badhabit Jess will be making his California debut on Saturday night. The gelding bobbled lightly at the start but quickly regained his stride. He was asked right-handed after the gap, continued on a straight path and crossed the wire on a hold before finishing the drill with a solid gallop out.
