#5 Czech Ala Foose – June 23   :12.80 at 220 Yards - Outside Horse

Outworked Dorango Sport 12.8 to 12.9 on June 23. Czech Ala Foose broke to the inside to graze his workmate at the start. He continued to float in and was under a hold early. He showed some zest at the midway point and continued to show nice effort while winning drill by a half-length.

#7 Neon Moon Shine – May 16  :12.70 at 220 yards - Inside Horse

Outworked Rulentless 12.7 to 13.0 on May 16. Neon Moon Shine broke out sharply out of the gate and cut off foe’s path. Shifted back to the inside before slowing drifting to the inside. She was asked at the halfway mark and finished nicely across the wire while galloping out with vitality on the way to the 7th fastest of 25 works.

#8 Verbose – May 30  :12.60 at 220 yards – Inside Horse

Was outworked by the promising Heatedly, who then showed talent while encountering a lot of trouble in her debut last weekend. Verbose broke to the inside and was asked right-handed just after the gap. The Seperate Interest gelding moved slightly to the inside at the midway mark before straightening out. He was asked once more by the rider and continued progressing nicely while finishing 1 ½ lengths behind Heatedly. Kept up with a good gallop out from there.

Race 4 – MAIDEN for 2-Year-Od Fillies at 300 yards

#1 Look Thru the Fire – April 25    :13.0 at 220 Yards - Inside Horse

$27,000 purchase at the Los Alamitos Equine Sale, Look Thru The Fire was outworked by Fractional Interest 12.5 to 13.0 on June 14. The filly broke straight but was slow to pick up speed early on. She was flagged by her rider and then asked for more right-handed. She veered in sharply when asked and jockey had to grab a hold of her to help level her out. She settled evenly from there and continued with an okay gallop out. She’s since posted a :12.9 turn and work on June 1

Race 5 – MAIDEN for 2-Year-Ods at 300 yards

#2 Juan To Watch – June 23     :12.60 at 220 Yards – Outside Horse

Stout looking colt by Seperate Interest, Juan To Watch broke a tad slow before finding a higher gear at the midway point of this drill. He sailed past his foe with 50 yards prior to the wire, crossing the finish line under a hold while continuing solidly through his gallop out in the 5th fastest of 13 drills on June 23.
