Los Alamitos RTCA Online Stallion Service Auction is now open
The Los Alamitos Division of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America is hosting its 6th annual online stallion service auction to raise funds towards its efforts to develop programs to benefit the spiritual needs of those that work in the barn area with racehorses at Los Alamitos Race Course.
Stallion owners have donated the breeding to more than 20 top stallions – with still more to be added - to support the Los Alamitos RTCA programs and initiatives. All proceeds from the auction will be used towards the local chaplaincy’s programs. During a difficult past two years, the Los Alamitos RTCA in partnership with the Quarter Horse Benevolent Foundation have managed programs that have included weekly meal distributions strictly for backside personnel working with the horses at Los Alamitos Race Course, holiday fellowship events, care packages and more. The Los Alamitos RTCA also established, supplied, and manage a “Pantry Store” where backside personnel could purchase basic provisions without having to leave the grounds.
The Los Alamitos RTCA stallion service auction page can be visited at losalamitosrtcaauction.com. Bidding on the stallions is now live and will continue through Tuesday, January 11 at 2 p.m. (Pacific).
With the financial support of the Quarter Horse Benevolent Foundation, Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association and Los Alamitos Race Course plus help from fundraisers like the Online Stallion Auction, the Los Alamitos RTCA also provided backside employees a take home meal on Thanksgiving Day.
This year’s stallion auction features many leading stallions and exciting new stallion prospects. Young stallions include Tell Cartel, KVN Corona, Constituent, Uncle D, Ali Babe Foose just to mention a few, while top stallions like Coronado Cartel, The Marfa Lights, Docs Best Card, Jess Being Valiant, Big Lew are just a few of the names also part of the online stallion auction roster. The stallions also include barrel racing stallions Slick By Design, Slye By Design and HP Dash Ta Fiesta.
