CHRIS WADE’S PICKS TO CLICK FOR SATURDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 15 AT LOS ALAMITOS
Tonight's BEST BET goes in the Opening Leg of the "Best Bet" in all of Night Racing, the Early Pick Four here at Prestigious Ole' Los Alamitos where the Pools are Gigantic and the Return on Your Investment could be the same with a Double Digit Winner along the way. In Race 3, the # 4-HULA PRANCER tired harshly going a mile over the Turf across Town versus eons better over the Turf in an effort we'll toss aside and garner a look at the prior efforts. In said affairs, this runner showed some ability when earning figures that are easily better on my numbers with all factored in. With my top figures in the holster along with some fondness for the sod shown. we'll push this runner steadily to sit a trip and be triple tough to deny in his first over the surface for a solid ship-in to win shed-row. The PRICE PLAYER on the Race-Card will be in the closely matched Feature, the GR1 Los Alamitos Winter Derby for for barn hitting at a solid 25% these last 30 nights of Racing and a quality 18% with Return Winners. In Race 8, the # 2 FAVORITE SEMENTAL won well in his Trial 21 Nights ago when breaking from the rail where the long strider has won twice from and he did it easily. In that effort, the good looker broke well to garner the lead and he extended versus a solid Rival who he draws up against once again. This runner was striding out well to the wire and with run left left to give as the Chris' Picks Price Player. If a like start is in the offing, then this entrant could produce an effort that will put him in the photo and at a nice mutual. Good Luck Y'all ! ! !
CHRIS WADE'S PICKS TO CLICK FOR SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16
Tonight's BEST BET goes in the Opening Leg of the Late Daily Double for quality connections that are on fire these last 30 nights of (40%) Racing and their Hard Knocking Entrant exits a Super Win from the First Down Dash Handicap 57 nights ago. In said effort, this Runner broke a step slow and inward to lose almost a length of ground and his Early Racing Momentum. After the less the stellar getaway, the long strider put forth a solid mid-race and late run to the wire to pull away and with run left in the tank. The figure earned is steadily best in this event and the drop in class also enhances the chances for a top-notch Won/Last (18%) shed-row. The PRICE PLAYER on the Race-Card will be in the GR1 Brad Mckinzie Winter Championship Stakes for another shed-row doing well these last 30 Nights of Racing (43%) and the Jockey/Trainer Combo (19%) has been stellar over this surface. In Race 9, the # 10-UNRELENTLESS is unbeaten since coming back to Los Alamitos (3 for 3) after doing well in New Mexico and Oklahoma from May to September and his record over our Oval (7-4-2-0) is stellar. The Speedster broke okay albeit bumped some at the start while still near the lead at the getaway prior to showing a garnering the lead prior to a nice turn of foot nearing the wire to hold sway when baby love tapped by her quality (Justine Klaiber) Race-Mate. The figure earned on my charts is "right there" with this quality group and the 4 year old has more room for improvement and the outside post promotes a clear path to the wire. Good Luck Y'all and don't forget the No-Carryover Pick Sixx Sunday ! ! !
