POLITICAL TWIST, FDD DREAMS ARRIVE AT LOS ALAMITOS

           Political Twist and FDD Dreams, the nation’s second and third leading money earners in 2025, arrived at Los Alamitos recently in preparation for major Grade 1 races in the upcoming months.

Trained by Xavier Rodriguez for La Feliz Montana Ranch and Ray Willis, Political Twist is second in earnings this year with $1,059,017. The 2-year-old gelding by Apollitical Jess has won five of six starts this year, his only blemish being a close second place finish in the Grade 1 All American Futurity on Labor Day. He won the Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity and the Grade 2 West Texas Futurity. Political Twist is eligible for the Golden State Million trials to be held on October 4.

La Feliz Montana also owns FDD Dreams, the All American Derby winner and of four of five starts this year and $884,524 in earnings. The Ruidoso Derby winner is already a millionaire in his career, The son of FDD Dynasty is here for the Los Alamitos Super Derby trials on October 19 and the Grade 1 Champion of Champions.
